On January 23, 2026, Justice Diana Cameron was recognized by the Manitoba Bar Association with the 2025 President’s Award of Excellence.  Each year, this award is a special recognition given to an MBA member who has made an extraordinary contribution to the MBA and its goals. 

In the comments at the presentation of the award, MBA president Stacey Soldier noted Justice Cameron’s intellect and her involvement with the CCIAWJ (especially her work to support the advancement of women in the legal profession).  Ms. Soldier stated, “The profession is grateful for your leadership and the example you set through your ethics, your passion for the law, your kindness and commitment to the rule of law.”
