The mission of the Canadian Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (CCIAWJ) is to enhance the work of women judges nationally and internationally in pursuit of equality, judicial independence and the rule of law.

We are currently seeking nominations or expressions of interest for two positions on the Board of Directors to be elected at our next AGM in June 2025.  Specifically, we are seeking one judge from Prince Edward Island and one from the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Candidates must be current members of the CCIAWJ to qualify for a position on the Board. 

This is a unique opportunity to work with women judges from across Canada who are deeply committed to principles of equality and diversity.  The work of the Board is interesting and highly rewarding.  The commitment involves attending and participating in one evening board meeting per month as well as committee work.
