September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, and indeed every day, we recognize and reflect on the tragic legacy of the Canadian Indian Residential School system and its impact on Indigenous communities. We remember the children who did not return home and honor the victims, survivors and families of this terrible chapter in our collective history.
