Feminist Legal Studies Queen’s Conference 2025

The annual Feminist Legal Studies Queen’s International Women’s Day Conference will be held this year from March 28-29, 2025 at Queen’s University in Kingston. The theme of this year’s Conference is Promises, Praxes, Paradigms: Knowing and Acting for Change 30 years after the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

The keynote lecture will be delivered by Dr. Nicole Redvers (DPhil, ND, MPH), the Western Research Chair and Director of Indigenous Planetary Health at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. Dr. Redvers is a member of the Deninu K’ue First Nation (NWT). The subject of her lecture is, “The Indigenous Determinants of Planetary Health: Respect of the Feminine”.
