About The Event
On April 26, 2021, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 10th as the annual International Day of Women Judges. The day was observed globally for the first time on March 10, 2022.
The International Day of Women Judges recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of women judges worldwide and is part of an ongoing effort to promote fair gender representation in the judiciary.
The Canadian Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges is proud to celebrate this important annual milestone with a webinar wherein we will be recognizing the experiences of women judges titled, “Stories of Resilience: Navigating Disability and Extreme Hardship” on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 12:30pm.
